Description
These penne are made from the finest Sicilian durum wheat by the Barbagallo family, now in its fourth generation. Thanks to their shape, this pasta retains flavors well, making them perfect for robust sauces such as Arrabiata or Bolognese. Durum wheat is ground into semolina in 28 steps. The semolina is processed into pasta dough within 24 hours, which is then pressed in bronze molds for an artisanal texture. Finally, the penne is dried at a low temperature for optimum flavour and nutrients. Real artisanal Italian pasta!
