Description
Shiro miso is a mild seasoning from Japan that is made authentically from fermented soybeans and white rice. Partly because the fermentation process only takes two to six weeks, the taste is mild, slightly sweet and umami. It is the mildest of the miso types. Delicious with cabbage and root vegetables and ginger, but also delicious in the processing of snacks, desserts and ice cream.
