Description
The Pandan rice comes from the Preah Vihear region in the north of Cambodia, where mainly women grow our Jasmine rice in cooperatives. In addition to rice, they also grow cassava, cashew nuts and soybeans. This rice is transported from the north of Cambodia to be peeled and processed in Batambang. The grain of whole meal pandan rice has a soft, full flavour. Can be combined well with spicy dishes. The silver skin is still on this rice. This way, the nutrients, vitamins, minerals and fibers are preserved. Preparation method: use approximately 75 g per person. Add 1.75 times the amount of water. Bring to the boil and simmer gently for 40 minutes.
