This farfalle is made from the best Sicilian durum wheat by the Barbagallo family, now in its fourth generation. The butterfly shape is ideal for light, summer dishes with fresh vegetables or creamy sauces. Durum wheat is ground into semolina in 28 steps. The semolina is processed into pasta dough within 24 hours, which is then pressed in bronze molds for an artisanal texture. Finally, the farfalle is dried at a low temperature for optimum taste and nutrients. Real artisanal Italian pasta!
