Horizon’s almonds have been coming from a Spanish farmers’ cooperative in Andalusia for 25 years. By hitting the branches with sticks, the ripe almonds fall from the tree into the large sails stretched underneath. The green bark is removed in the orchard. Underneath this green bark is a dark, hard bark, which is only cracked in the factory. This delicious almond shavings are then made with it. Ideal for baking or as a garnish.
