Description
Quinoa has been grown as a food crop for thousands of years. Quinoa has a nutty flavour and is an excellent substitute for rice, pasta or potatoes. It goes well in all kinds of dishes and is also a delicious addition to salads. Rinse the quinoa again before preparing it to eliminate a bitter taste. Use approximately 75 g per person and add twice as much water or stock. After 10 minutes of gentle cooking, let the quinoa stand covered for another 10 minutes.
