Description
Basmati rice has the longest rice grain of all rice types and has a full aroma and flavour. Only the outer, indigestible husk has been removed. The skin with many valuable nutrients is still around it. Use approximately 75 g per person. Rinse the rice. Add twice the amount of water. Bring to the boil and let it simmer for 40 to 45 minutes.
