Description
Horizon almonds have been coming from a Spanish farmers’ cooperative in Andalusia for 25 years. By hitting the branches with sticks, the ripe almonds fall from the tree into the large sails that are stretched underneath. In the orchard, the green bark is removed. Under this green bark is a dark hard bark, which is removed for the blanched almonds. Delicious as a snack, in baking or as a garnish.
