These spelt grains are grown biodynamically. Biodynamic goes a step further than organic. Demeter certified farmers meet extra high requirements for animal welfare and soil management. Crop rotation is essential for a resilient soil. By growing the same crop in the same place a maximum of once every five years, the soil remains resistant to diseases. Grain is a favorite crop in crop rotation: the deep root system makes the soil nice and airy. In addition, straw is a comfortable bedding for animals in the stable and straw manure is gold for the soil. Tasty, wholesome and vital grains from close to nature. Wash the spelt and let it soak in plenty of water for 3 hours. Bring 75 g of spelt per person to the boil with 300 ml of water. Let the spelt cook on a low heat for 1 hour. Add salt and herbs to taste. Drain the spelt and let it soak for 15 minutes.
