Description
The Pandan rice comes from the Preah Vihear region in the north of Cambodia, where mainly women grow our Jasmine rice in cooperatives. In addition to rice, they also grow cassava, cashew nuts and also soybeans. This rice is transported from the north of Cambodia to be peeled and processed in Batambang. The white long grain of white pandan rice is ground and polished. Therefore, the taste is somewhat milder but retains its soft, full taste. For that reason, it can be combined well with spicy dishes. Use approximately 75 g per person. Add 1.75 times the amount of water. Bring to the boil and let it simmer gently for 40 minutes.
