This chocolate is made from Virunga cocoa! By eating this chocolate you protect the gorillas and offer the residents a better future! The last mountain gorillas live in the Virunga National Park in Eastern Congo. To prevent the degradation of their habitat by humans, cocoa has been planted on the edge of the park. The cocoa provides the residents with extra income so that they do not threaten the habitat of the gorillas. In addition, Arenga forest sugar from the project of the Masarang Foundation has been added to this bar. This foundation, together with the local population, protects the habitat of the Orang-Utan by, among other things, planting new forest and harvesting the Arenga forest sugar from it.
